Meet Katie Burden

Registered Clinical Counselor

Hello and welcome! I’m Katie (she/her), a Registered Clinical Counselor with a master’s in counseling psychology and art therapy from Adler University. I work with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, identity exploration, and self-worth. My approach is warm, collaborative, and rooted in deep respect for your lived experience.

I believe therapy is a space to reconnect with what matters most, especially when life feels messy or overwhelming. Together, we can explore the patterns that no longer serve you and begin to move toward a life that feels more authentic and aligned with your values.

I draw from a variety of approaches —including art therapy, ACT, EMDR, somatic work, nature-based therapy, relational therapy, and Focusing— tailoring our work to meet your unique needs. You don’t have to be “fixed”—you deserve to be understood and supported.

Whether you're feeling stuck, curious, or simply ready for change, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
